Description:
This is a very nice original Colt Diamondback manufactured in 1978. It retains 98% of the original factory gloss blue finish, and the bore in the 4 inch barrel is minty and bright. The rifling still shows sharp lands and grooves, and there is no evidence of pitting or erosion. The original factory checkered Walnut grips with gold Colt medallions are in excellent shape as well, and show no signs of wear. While the gun is not unfired, it appears that it has been fired only a handful of times at most. The action is smooth and works perfectly. The trigger breaks nicely in double or single action modes of operation. The action locks up tight with no wiggle and is "in time". This Colt Diamondback is certainly a high condition gun that would make an excellent investment.
