#15122, Mario Beschi 20 Bore Engraved by the Italian Master Engraver Torcoli, A Boxlock Ejector Made in 1985, 26" Vent Rib barrels at .627 .010 & .013 (Skt.II & Mod.), 2 3/4" chambers, Factory marked Imp. Cyl. & Mod. with Correct factory bore & chokes as it left the factory in 1985, 1.090 KG weight barrels, Single non-selective trigger, Scalloped frame, A slim game forend, Straight hand stock at 14 3/8 x 1 1/2 x 2 1/4" over a full face checkered butt, Neutral stock for the right or left hand, No sling eyes, 5 lbs., Very nice wood with nice black/brown contrast, 99% coverage of very high quality engraving with the bird scenes done by the Master Manrico Torcoli, The very well cut ornamental floral engraving signed by Bernardelli is very tastefully done with deep relief and a matte background, The gun retains 98% original blue, The frame finish at 98%, The wood is at 92%, The checkering at 97%, The bores are excellent plus and look like the day they left the Beschi shop 32 years ago. On each side of the forend on top at the breech end a sliver of wood cracked and was glued back without a refinish, If I didn't mention it you wouldn't notice it. The engraving is worth the price of the gun. ////////////////////////////// //////// Manrico Torcoli is an absolute Master Engraver. He created a style of fantasy engravings with women and animals and fused it all together creating outstanding scenes. A lot of his work is done on superb custom knives and some of the world's best sporting firearms.
