Description:
This is one of the rarer makers of Civil War swords , based in NEW YORK,they supplied many of the NEW YORK units. The acid etching is above average with the U.S., flags ,shield, and pike, on one side, on the reverse are flags ,shields and stars, and pikes. The scabbard has copper double fancy hangers and matching drag. The silver grip is in amazing condition , the brass basket is heavily engraved as is the bottom of the pummel cap. This is a true CIVIL WAR , maker ,at the end they produced no more swords , only during the war years. call 859-533-5445
