Description:
The only one of its kind known to exist, this percussion single barrel pistol is built onto a folding knife and fork camper’s tool. The two sides slide apart so it can be used as a knife and fork. Also provided was a corkscrew so you could enjoy wine with your meal. The owner’s name “W. Golden” is engraved on the barrel. The maker’s name of the knife pistol is about 3/4 visible on the blade. The crown R at the top is missing probably the “V” because this is Victorian period. The name is missing the first few letters but ends in “...nton & Sons. There is also a cap box with a hinged lid in the butt that would contain balls and percussion caps for shooting. This is a wonderful and unique combination pistol that holds a fascination for anyone who sees it.
