This Colt Army Special model was manufactured in 1919 but looks like it could have left the Colt factory last month! The original high-polish factory blue finish is still 97%+/- and the bore and grips are minty. The action on this Colt is smooth and it locks up tight. At full lock there is no play in the cylinder whatsoever. The trigger breaks cleanly in single or double action modes of operation, and there is no grittiness or creep. If you are looking for a top "collector grade" pre-WW2 double action Colt that is sure to appreciate in value, this is it.
