Description:
Winchester pump Model 1890 in 22 short, by Angelo Bee. Serial #307562. An Angelo Bee recreation of a Factory Style #8 of the era, the equivalent of a Grade 8 in today’s vernacular. The gun was originally manufactured in 1907. In December of 2009, the metal was refinished, the wood installed and the firearm assembled and shipped by Eubanks Gunsmithing of Homedale, ID back to A. Bee for final work. Among many, the design is referred to as “Rabbits and Squirrels”. Angelo is among the last if not THE last craftsman outside Belgium that still uses and awl and hammer for engraving. The gun has not been fired since the rebuild. There are two forms of authentication of this gun, the first being a certificate of authenticity provided by Angelo Bee himself, and second an email from a principal of the shop in ID that was part of the build, with which a personal relationship with Angelo goes back many years and would be easy to validate.
