Another offering from my California collector. Please find this Winchester pre-64 Model 70 in 30-06 Springfield bearing serial #570586. Produced 1963, this is truly a nice rifle, the likes of which we won’t likely see manufactured again. This rifle is beautiful and shows only the slightest wear and that only in the most common areas, bolt handle, magazine floorplate and a touch on the claw extractor. Yes, the bolt is serialized to the receiver. The 24-inch barrel and bore are flawless. The original sights are on the rifle as well as the front sight hood. The walnut wood stock is in excellent condition with only the slightest blemishes. The butt stock has a red Pachmayer basket weave recoil pad. LOP is 13 ¼ inches.
