Description:

Nice Early Smith & Wesson 1st Model American Revolver. Early gun with the oil hole in the barrel. Gun has a later nickel finish that rates at 95%. The finish is still old, just not as old as the gun. Gun is all matching. Nice clear markings. Butt is marked with the serial number 5. We do not believe this is actually serial number 5. We think the lanyard screw was put in there at a later date and obliterated the other numbers when they did. The grips on this gun are wonderful carved Mexican Eagle with Snake. Beautiful grips!
