Winchester Pre-64 Model 70 300 Magnum
Find another offering from our California gun gatherer. This Pre-64 Winchester is in 300 Magnum (300 H&H)
and bears serial # 139393, likely produced in 1950. Bolt and receiver serial numbers match. The rear sight assembly is missing but instead a Lyman #48 WJS peep sight has been installed. No extra holes in the receiver rear bridge. The metal retains 98% of the original finish, some thinning on the floor plate and muzzle. The stock is original and retains 97% of its factory finish but has had a Pachmayr Whiteline recoil pad installed, LOP is 14 inches. There are some extremely minor handling marks from ages and safe kisses. 26-inch barrel is flawless inside and out discounting a bit of thinning blue at the muzzle crown. Front sight is integral to the barrel and has it’s sight hood.
