SCARCE ENGRAVED Antique Marlin XX 1873 Revolver
Classy Late-19th Century Conceal and Carry Pistol
Here we present an antique Marlin XX 1873 .22 Rimfire Revolver, made circa 1880. Only about 10,000 were made, and most were not engraved like this one is. Featuring 7 shots of .22 rimfire, this small revolver would have been just enough firepower to defend oneself and conceal and carry easily.
The overall condition is near fine. The steel parts retain about 20% of the original blue finish. The engraved brass frame retains a small amount of the original silver plate finish. The engraving and markings are still clear. The wood grips are smooth and fine. The bore is good to very good. The action is excellent. Here is a fantastic example of a factory engraved Marlin revolver.
