Description:
For a couple of years Ruger made the new model Blackhawk in .357 Maximum caliber, which is a lengthened.357 Magnum case, about a quarter inch longer than the regular .357 mag case, for silhouette shooting. I think there were about 9,000 manufactured, with the longer 10.5 inch barrel being the most scarce. This prime example is 99.5 % condition, in the original box, with the original manual. Glue on the end label has dried and the label is missing. These .357 Maximum Revolvers are becoming very scarce in this condition. Because of the long frame they are being used as a basis for several "custom caliber" revolvers and for this reason alone they shall become harder to find as time goes on, and more valuable.
