Description:
For a couple of years Ruger made the new model Blackhawk in 357 Maximum caliber, which is a lengthened 357 Mag case, about a quarter inch longer than the regular 357 Magnum case, for silhouette shooting. I think there were about 9,000 or so manufactured, with the 7.5 inch barrel being the most common. This prime exampe is 99.5% and near mint in the original box with manual and label. These 357 Maximum revolvers are becoming very scarce in this condition. Because of the long frame they are being used as a basis for several "custom caliber" revolvers and for this reason alone they shall become harder to find as time goes on, and more vauable.
