CAVALRY PISTOL DATED 1869. .65 caliber smoothbore 8” barrel with British proofs at the left breech. Lock plate stamped “CROWN/BROAD ARROW/EIG” and “BIRMINGHAM/1869”.Full length walnut stock and brass mounts. Stirrup retained steel ramrod. Original and in very good condition. Wood refinished and some old non original blue on metal though mostly worn. Working order and good bore. Post Great Mutiny era pistol of the type used by British Indian Army Cavalry.
