R.B. RODDA & CO. LONDON .360 2 3/4" BPE DOUBLE RIFLE WITH HAMMERS. Serial number "60XXX" which puts it in the W. & C. Scott range(probable manufacturer as Rodda was only an agent). 28" barrels with excellent bore and crisp rifling. Crisp London address on one barrel and "2 Wellesley Place, Calcutta" on other. Original three leaf express sights and front sight. Solid rib with original matte pattern. 50% of original blue fading but NO salt pepper or pitting. Back action locks and frame with crisp original scroll engraving. Original hammers and screws. Original sling screws. Missing one wedge escutcheon screw. Matching engraved pistol grip cap. Never refinished so cracks in wrist(with old wrist repair) should repair quite well. Stock a bit loose as a result of old repair to upper tang but room to work with. Worthwhile project that should come out quite nice but needs someone who knows what they are doing. Very tight on face.
