For sale, an honest and interesting Colt Police Positive revolver in .32 Police (Colt) caliber. This Police Positive was made in 1935 and features a 6 inch barrel and black Colt logo hard rubber grips. This second issue model was made between 1928 and 1947 and is identified by the serrated top strap which the first issue lacked. This example is used but well cared for. As you can see in the pictures, it has a lot of original Colt factory blue finish remaining but shows some holster carry and high edge wear. It has a minty bright bore with strong rifling and the action works perfectly. It is smooth in both double and single action modes of operation, and the cylinder locks up tight with no play at full lock. The original factory grips are in excellent condition and are free from cracks or repairs. If you have been looking for one of these to add to your collection this would be a perfect choice. It shows enough wear that you could shoot it without feeling bad about it, but yet it still has enough original finish to be attractive.
