Description:
Offered for sale is a unique Pennsylvania Long Rifle made by John Shell Dauphin County Penna.  This Rifle is half stocked in silver trim.  The rifle has a great cheek piece and features a 36 1/4" long bbl measuring 1" across the flats with a bore diameter of .45"  An added early redfield peep site sets it off as a great old target rifle.  Shell supposedly numbered his rifles and this one has a number 66 stamped in the top flat of the barrel.  Good and correct JOHN SHELL stamped bbl mark.
