Description:
Wakisashi in Mounts. This is an unsigned Ubu Wakizashi with 1 hole and Sujikai Yasurime. The blade is 17 7/16” (44.3 cm.) in length. Some areas of the irregular hamon are visible. The unsigned Tsuba is iron with gold, shakudo, silver, and copper birds. Included in this theme are rocks, foliage and a stream. The Fuchi Kashira are polished shibuichi with well carved roosters of gold shakudo, silver and copper. The Fuchi is signed Hisa Nori. The Menuki also is of birds. The unsigned Kodzuka is a shakudo nanako ground with gold and shakudo nanako ground with gold and shakudo birds amidst foliage. The Saya is in excellent condition. Cutting edge (Nagasa) is 17 ½”.
