Description:
This is a made in Japan Weatherby Mark V rifle in .270 Weatherby Magnum. The serial number dates between 1974 and 1981. This example has a 24 inch barrel with an Ultra Brake muzzle brake. Metal is Good to Very Good with a wear spot on the top of the barrel about 10 1/2 inches back from the muzzle. The floor plate and trigger guard show some scratches. The bore is bright and shiny. The classic Weatherby style Monte Carlo walnut stock is in Very Good condition with some handling marks apparent. The finish is Very Good with no visible checking. This rifle is equipped with a Leupold Vari-X III 3.5-10x40mm scope in a 1 piece Leupold mount and a bipod. These are all included in the price of the rifle, and will not be removed and the rifle repriced without them.
