Very fine condition indeed. There is the usual, but very slight muzzle and sharp edge silvering. The rest of the gun is exceptionally clean.
An easy 97-98% of the original factory finish remains. The grip straps show some very slight pinpricks but no signs of graying. There are a couple of small patches of light surface pin pricks on the left side of the slide and they are barely noticeable.
All numbered gun parts match including the grips. The hard wood grips are excellent, and retain almost all of the original lacquer, showing no chips or cracks. The bolt face, feed ramp and slide rails show very little use.
The bore is super. Bright and sharp rifling with just a hint of graying. The gun comes with one very fine early nickel plated magazine serial numbered 255.
