The condition is fantastic appears to be an “Arsenal Queen" that sat in a rack since the day the army acquired it. It is a 100% correct Smith Corona. The parkerized parts, basically the barrel, bayonet assembly, receiver, trigger guard, floor plate, rear sight and some bolt parts are at the very worst, 99.9% The blued parts, bolt, bolt handle and extractor about 98% the loss in both areas is from sharp edge silvering and a very slight rub mark or two on the extractor from checking the barrel and the chamber from time to time. The gun appears to be unfired.
The dark walnut stock is nicely matched and devoid of any chips or splits. There are only two or three tiny handling dings. The left side has the original Square FJA inspectors stamp and the Crossed cannons and Ordinance seal. The bottom of the pistol grip has the proper Circle P. The stock in front the magazine assembly is stamped Triangle 2, Circle 9, Square 12, and Diamond 10. The bore like the rest of the gun appears factory new. Mirror bright with razor sharp rifling. There is not a hint of frost anywhere. It just doesn't get much better than this for the collector or shooter.....$1195.
