My friend and customer from California has asked me to sell his 9mm P-08 Luger by Mauser. This pistol bears serial # 4024 s. This example is 100% parts matching for the pistol with the exception being the magazine. I have personally disassembled the pistol and verified serialized parts content to be correct. There are no importers marks to be found this is a GI Bring Back. The pistol retains well over 94% of its original bluing. The wear areas for this pistol are on the front of the grip frame and the back on the shoulder stock lug. There is some very light and shallow pitting on the top of the barrel. There is some very light surface wear on the top of the frame from holster storage and carry. The various proof marks are quite legible. The major deductions or deletes would be in the surviving condition of the grips. While neither are cracked there are numerous chips missing along the edges and some of the diamonds are worn down. Worst is the right panel which at some point suffered from the GI apparently carving his name or something into the right panel. The supplied magazine has an aluminum bottom and is serial # 4492.
