Description:
This is an interesting Colt Single Action Army revolver that was made in 1894. The revolver has a 4 ¾ inch barrel with thin blue and a great bore, the frame has limited faded case color but shiny silver and original milling lines. The ejector rod housing has thin faded blue as well. The grips are black hard rubber with rampart colts on each side. The grips are numbered to the frame with the standard scribing underneath (both are numbered to the gun) and have been removed to check. The serial numbers on the frame, trigger guard and butt match. There are 4 notches cut into the bottom right side of the right grip and 11-3-12 is scratched into the grip bottom. A cursorily google search did not show anything historical on that date. But who knows. This nice antique Colt is in excellent mechanical condition with 4 clicks and dead center timing.This is an Antique and can be shipped directly to you were allowed by law.
