.45, # 82801 on frame, 95085 on trigger gurad and back strap, 4322 on cylinder, NVSN on barrel, blue and case color finis, 1 piece walnut grips, right side has RAC cartouche and 1903, left side has RAC on bottom of butt, probably amoung the last rebuilds.
Along with all the other features that are sometimes found on the conversions, this one has a prominent "A" on the back strap. The serial number is much too hight to be an Ainsworth inspecter piece. There are reports on old pieces being use in conversions and numbered to another piece.
Condition: bore is bright and strong, barrel and ejector housing retain 50% blue, back strap 10%, trigger guard 20%, 10% cylinder mostly in flutes and fading, 60% case colors on frame fading, excellent mechanically, excellent marks.
