Description:
This is a nice Winchester Model 1892 SRC in .44-40 W.C.F. The receiver may have had some cold blue added but it is hard to tell. The walnut stock and forearm are quite nice with frontier marks and some thinning finish. Stock wax looks to have been added to the butt and forearm. The Saddle ring keeper has been peened to hold it solid. The bore is in excellent condition and this carbine is sound and solid.
