Description:
Charles Daly Empire model 20 gauge. Serial number 1442 on the barrel, receiver and forearm iron. "XXIII" date code, which is 1967 year of manufacture.
Fires both 2 3/4" and 3" shells. 28" barrels with fixed FULL / MODIFIED chokes.
Made in Italy. Near identical to a Beretta GR3, except the trigger guard. Beretta is said by many to have been the maker on these and Charles Daly just branded them with their trade name.
Single non selective trigger with EXTRACTORS. Semi beavertail forearm.
14 1/4" L.O.P. No alerations to cast from factory dimensions.
90-95% original finish on the metal. The wood has a few light scratches, nicks, etc.
Mint bores with no dents or dings in the barrels.
Weighs about 6 1/2 lbs.
?A nice quality SXS priced at what you would expect to pay for an American made semi automatic.
