.38-40, #80255, 24 inch octagon barrel, blue and case color finish, shotgun butt, carbine frame, walnut stock and fore arm, 1881.
Condition: strong rifling in a black powder bore, metal surfaces are plum brown overall, front sight ivory blade is chipped, wood has numerous dings, excellent mechanically, very good marks.
