LYMAN model of 1878 Sharps in 45-70, brand new
I have a brand new, never fired Sharps 1878 single-shot side-hammer reproduction. It has the tang sight invented by William Lyman in 1878 paired w/globe sight and an extremely long range Soule type tang sight which I added for long range target. Built to Lyman specs by Pedersoli, I bought it last year (before the election) to shoot silhouette competition but never have. Period-style laser engravings on silver receiver lockplate & buttplate. Round barrel with blued finish, double set triggers. Checkered shotgun style stock with ebony forearm tip. Satin Finish. 1:18 twist, 14" LOP, 30" barrel, Overall 47" and 9 lbs. Also comes with a complete set of Lee reloading dies, 80 new Star Line brass cases, 500 cast and lubed bullets. Everything you'll need to get started (except the reloading press and your choice of powder and primers) I paid $1589 for the gun last October, and $190 for the long range sight, plus the reloading materials.
