.303 caliber, 21" barrel fitted for the 1888 sword bayonet. Receiver ring marked "V.R." under the crown "ENFIELD/1900/L.E.C./I*" Birmingham proofs on the barrel and receiver. In superb condition retaining nearly all of the blue, excellent wood, all matching. Excellent sharp bore. This carbine conforms exactly to the specifications found in Skinerton, {THE LEE ENFIELD STORY} page 391. Accompanied by it's 1888 pattern sword bayonet.
