This is when they really made them well folks. This little model 220 Savage was definitely manufactured pre war and is in just about factory new condition, with all original blue on the barrel and most all the original case color on the narrow little receiver. Wood is about perfect with no dings or problems. I don't think we could find one in better condition even if it was new in the box. A super little gun with 26 inch full choke barrel, perfect bore and chamber, etc. These little hammerless guns are quite scarce and provide good training for a youngster coming along as they can get used to the auto tang safety which most all side by sides and over unders have these days. Seems the older hammer guns are much more available in the 410 single shots.
