IN 1914 GERMAN MILITARY ORDERED FROM THEIR 2 LUGER MAKERS COMPANIES "ERFURT AND "DWM" "ARTILLERY LUGER". IT WAS SIDE ARM CALIBER 9MM PISTOL WITH 8 INCHES BARREL, HOLSTER, AND WOODEN DETACHABLE STOCK AND ALSO REGULAR 8 ROUNDS MAGAZINE. AT THE SAME TIME THESE GERMAN COMPANIES WERE MAKING SUBMACHINE GUNS WHICH WERE USING THE SAME 9MM LUGER CALIBER AND "9MM LUGER CALIBER SNAIL DRUM 32 ROUNDS MAGAZINES".
TO LOAD THESE 32 ROUNDS MAGAZINES THERE WAS A SPECIAL LOADING TOOL MADE, WHICH WAS ALSO SUPPLIED WITH THE MAGAZINES. THESE TOOLS WERE MADE MANY LESS AND THEY ARE VERY HARD TO FIND. I HAVE JUST ONE AND I PUT IT FOR SALE. THIS TOOL IS IN EXCELLENT ORIGINAL CONDITION AND IT IS A VERY DESIRABLE BY GUN COLLECTORS.
We accept bank & postal money orders or personal & business checks, but those take time to clear. We also offer 90 days layaways with 25% down & three more payments of 25% per month. The layaway plan does not have 3 days inspection privileges; therefore there is “NO RETURNS” policy.
