Description:
L C Smith
Field Grade 20Ga. Feather weight model.  S/N# 36883.  Date of MFG. 1920. 26” Barrels Chocked Right, IC and Left, Full. 2 ½” Chambers. Stock 1 ½” DAC, X   2 3/8” DAH, X 14 ¼” LOP. Original butt plate and caped pistol grip.  Gun weight is 5# 14 oz.   The gun has had the stock & forend refinished, and re checkered.   The barrels have been re blued, and all metal parts polished and re blued as well. Ready for a new century.  The new owner will have many memorable years of faithful service.  This is the perfect light weight American classic side lock. It handles and swings beautifully. Made for Grouse, Woodcock, Quail, Shore birds, & pheasant. Not to mention a fun clays gun too. This gun was built as a light weight field gun for 2 ½” shells which are readily available. Would not recommend lengthening the chambers and pounding away with 2 ¾” modern shells.   I also have a factory letter to authenticate your new L C Smith. 3 day inspection privilege. Buyer assumes shipping & insurance fees. Non Negotiable.
