Savage Model 1899G Deluxe 250-3000 Takedown
Out of my California collectors’ lifelong accumulation please find this fantastic and scarce Deluxe Savage Model 1899G, serial # 355391, chambered in 250-3000. This is the deluxe takedown version with brass cartridge counter, deluxe checkering on the but stock and fore end, and vintage Lyman 2.5X Alaskan All Weather Scope. The scope has a post style reticle and is remarkably clear and perfectly serviceable. The barrel is 22 inches long, bore and chamber are excellent. This one has the factory barrel band. Wood stock is excellent and appears 100% original, steel butt plate with SVG logo. Lever has good color case remaining. Exterior blue finish is a solid 98%. If it’s been fired it has only very sparingly. One of the best out here period.
