Description:
Springfield 50 caliber 2nd Allin conversion in overall very good condition. Civil War musket altered to breech loader. This gun has a 32 inch barrel with 2 barrel bands that are properly spaced indicating armory alteration. All markings are sharp and clear. Hammer and breech retain 90% original finish. Barrel and bands are smooth but age stained and bore is near fine with a lot of sheen. Stock is fine with wood filled in where middle band was before alteration. In excellent working order. Selling at near my cost.
