Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 .270 Winchester Feather Weight
Offering from our California client this Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 in 270. The rifle bears serial # 507521. Likely early 1961 manufacture. The bolt is serialized to the receiver. The 22-inch barrel is a replacement and is contoured to the Winchester original Feather Weight profile. The bore is bright shiny with no visible defects. Some bluing thinned on floor plate and edges of floor plate. NO provision for iron sights. Bolt handle is hollow. Winchester black synthetic stock. LOP 13 ½ inches. Rifle weighs 6 ¾ pounds plus or minus an ounce. Add scope and let’s go hunting.
