Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Featherweight 30-06 Springfield
Mr. California brings to us another Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Featherweight. This one chambered in 30-06 Springfield and bears serial # 376368 putting manufacture probably midyear 1956. Metal finish is a very solid 97% the only real discounted finish to be found is on the aluminum floor plate and trigger guard and these are notoriously prone to wear from traditional carry. 22-inch barrel is perfect inside and out iron sights remain minus the front hood. Stock has a slight Monte Carlo comb and has had a very professional repair performed at the left top edge, just below the Winchester logo, please see photos, finish is excellent and does have one or two safe kisses or s from handling, no chips or cracks. LOP from face of trigger to edge of Black Old English recoil pad is 13 1/3 inches. This is a very nice rifle you will be proud to own, hunt with and or display.
