Description:
This German Ortgies Model 1 Trap door Rifle chambered in.22 LR has a 24" blued tapered round barrel is fitted with fixed sights and shows some light finish wear. The bore has good riflng but is slightly frosted and worn. The trap door action is in good condition with some light finish wear near the hinge point. The Walnut stock with a pistol grip has an inlaid wooden medallion with the maker's insignia on it on the left side of the butt stock and has scattered scratches and dings as well as the forearm. The metal butt plate is in good condition with light finish wear and has the maker's insignia stamped on it. Length of pull is 14- ¼”, overall length is 40- ¾”, and weight is 3.8 Lbs.
