Guns by Sally-always the best for less. We are Paris proud to offer this fine Charlin high grade double. When I saw the detail of the engraving, I had to show it to the world. This gun, like the Darne, opens by the breach sliding back, extracting the shells and ejecting the empties. If you think a Darne is smooth, this is even smoother. The precision of the action is amazing. The wonderful engraving is complemented by some highly figured wood. The drops are 1 3/4 and 2 3/4 inches, and the LOP is 13 3/4 inches. She weighs in at just about 6 pounds, not your typical 12 gauge. The bores are bright, choked extra full and improved cylinder, which is typical for the breed. The length of the barrels is also typical, at 67.5 cm. Yes, this is the original barrel length and the muzzles touch. The chambers are just over 2 1/2 inches, so RST loads may be in order. She is in good condition, with light handling marks and some discoloration on the coin finished receiver and trigger guard. When you look at the Charlin literature, you see that this is the "2 bird" grade, which is pretty high up the ladder. It was the 200 dollar grade in France. This double is so light and practically leaps to your shoulder, it is no wonder why some folks are fanatical about French sliding shotguns. If you have been looking for the right high grade that none of the others have, with tons of engraving and features, then look no further.
