Description:
This is a Colt Series 70 Government Model pistol in .45 ACP that was sent to King's Gun Works in Glendale California. The serial number dates to 1977. Work performed by King's includes a full accuracy job, a trigger job, Smith & Wesson K frame adjustable rear sight instalation, ambidextrous thumb safeties, a beavertail grip safety, a squared trigger guard with a checkered front, an extended magazine release, a ramped barrel, a lowered ejection port, a beveled magazine well, and application of a hard chrome finish. Grips are Pachmayr Signature Series. Condition is Excellent overall with a shiny bore. Included is a period correct Colt box that is in rough shape and not numbered to the pistol.
