Description:
Hammerguns - This is a very high quality English double with sound and nitro proofed Damascus barrels. While the Purdey patent thumb lever may put one off as they look rather unusual, it would be a gross mistake to do so as they are extremely ergonomic. I have been using a gun with this feature in the field for years and absolutely love this design.
This fine shotgun is tight on face with basically bright bores and it is field ready. It has not seen any recent restoration so if one wanted, a new oil finish would bring out what is marvelous smoky English walnut.
