FINE CIVIL WAR ERA MANHATTAN FIRE ARMS CO. 3RD MODEL PERCUSSION .36 CAL. NAVY REVOLVER CA. 1863-4. 5 shot with 5” octagon barrel stamped “MANHATTAN FIRE ARMS CO. NEWARK, N.J.”. All original and matching in the 37xxx serial range. 30-40% blue and case hardening with remainder of finish a very pleasing evenly blended deep patina. Very crisp markings and exceptional 99% cylinder scene with the 1859 patent date stamp behind the cylinder stops. Near mint walnut grips with all the finish and only a few very minor dings. Mellow brass straps with whispy amounts of silver wash. Excellent bore and working order.
