True talent and a work of art. American Flintlock made by Jerry W. Huddleston for his own use from a single slab of curly maple. A part from the lock and swamped Colerain barrel, all parts were made in his shop. He used this to hunt with for (2) two years and sold to current owner in 2015. It features a two leaf hunting rear sight, tall blade front sight. Decorative highlights are flawless in letting and carvings, gold barrel bands, engraved heel & toe, plates as well as exquisite work on the patch box. Silver lock is step filed, engraved and has a double set, adjustable trigger. Makers name on the barrel flat, initials on the lock. Mr. Huddleston has been making muzzle loading guns for over fifty years and this is his masterpiece! Dont miss out for a wonderful price. Please see pics.
