HOINIG, FERLACH. ONE OF A KIND - rare, small O/U double rifle .22 Hornet that is pre-WWII. It weighs only 6 1/2 pounds. 14" LOP. Walnut stock is highly figured. It has a decorative wooden ramrod with ramrod pipes made of stag horn and the buff plate and pistol-grip cap are made of horn. The octagonal steel barrels are 20" long with a very unusual FLARED forend cap made of stag horn. Superb Peerless Quality bar-action, rebounding-hammer sidelocks with engraved action, bushed firing pins and double, fully adjustable, single set triggers. It uses readily available Hornady Factory Ammo. It comes in an original Abercrombie and Fitch leather case and bone handle cleaning rod, jags and key for the case.
