SCHOLBERG, LIEGE - RARE 16 Ga SIDE-OPENING O/U. ** REDUCED**
This is an exceptionally rare, side-opening, 16 gauge O/U Game Gun built on a "Superbritte" action. It has steel barrels and retains 100% of its original brilliant black finish. Weighs only 5 lbs. 6 oz. with a LOP 13 3/8". Barrell length: 27 1/2"
It is beautifully engraved and has gold inlay on the action with bushed firing pins, ejectors and an articulated front trigger.
The stock is made of Walnut - with it and the forend having a fancy checkering pattern and checkered butt.
This is a very Rare, unique side lever, side opening mechanisim and had been patented by Britte of Belgium as the "Superbritte" action. Very desirable and extremely rare to find in 16 ga. This gun is in mint condition.
