Winchester Model 61 hammerless, chambered in .22 S, L, LR, fitted with a 24 inch round barrel, tube magazine, takedown action, plain grips stock, and period Redfield rear sight. The Model 61 was a popular rifle for Winchester, with approximately 350,000 manufactured between 1932 to 1963. A very desirable model for Winchester collectors and shooters alike. This 1952 vintage Model 61 rifle shows honest wear with approximately 75-80% of the original blue finish. A very nice bore, that is bright with strong rifling. The stock shows light handling marks from use, but no major dings or cracks. The takedown screw slot is in nice condition and the receiver and barrel assembly mate up tightly.
