The following is from the great men and women at America Remembers. Each Tribute pistol is decorated by craftsmen specifically commissioned by America Remembers. Right side features scenes from the conflicts of the second half of this century, including a helicopter dropping a team of American warriors into the jungles of Vietnam, along with a scene depicting Operation Desert Storm. Left side features military campaigns from WWI to Korea. Review the art and you will find a bomber, Navy Destroyer, a tank, machine gunner, and other military scenes, along with the VFW 100th Anniversary Emblem. Top of slide features artwork symbolizing all branches of the Armed Forces, and the inscription, "VFW, 100 Years Service To The Nation And Its Veterans.
