Description:
Serial #G24568, 12 Ga. (2 3/4") 28" VR barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is an FN-made, 1956 shotgun that has been fitted with a high quality, Verney-Caron “Hastings" barrel with Modified choke tube. The receiver retains 90-92% of the original blue finish with silvering along the edges and high edges. The walnut forend is in good shape, but does have a characteristic with-the-grain crack on the underside where it meets the receiver. The buttstock has minor handling marks and small surface blemishes in the original varnish, and the original FN hard rubber buttplate is faded, but intact. This is a nice, Belgian Browning, with a desirable, high quality Hastings barrel. FFL or C&R
