Description:
Exceptional condition US Springfield Mdl 1816 Type III "National Armory Bright" Musket. 69c with 42" Bbl. Very early Mdl dated 1830. Very Rare to find as most all of this Mdl were converted to percussion. Lock retains virtually all of its original vivid case colors. All markings including inspectors marks and cartouches are sharp and crisp. Wood is exc with no damage. Some scattered light storage rust to bright metal parts. Overall untouched and un used. Would be near impossible to upgrade from this one. Serious only please.
