Description:
This is a 51 caliber Double Barrel Flintlock pistol and probably made 1800-1825. It is a smooth bore with 8” barrels and is marked CANNON ORDU on the center rib. The mechanical function is very good and the bores are in nice condition, not pitted. No maker name on this one. There is an oval metal escutcheon on the rear of the grip. It will twist off and it appears that a stock attaches there. The wood is not cracked or damaged.
