Description:
16 gauge, 28″ steel barrels, 2-1/2″ chambers, choked: IMP MOD and FULL. Full length matted rib with steel front bead, marked “Parker Bros. Makers Meriden, Conn, Trojan Steel” with dolls head extension. Double triggers, extractors, automatic safety. Full pistol grip buttstock, checkered in two point pattern, with 14″ length of pull over black serrated lined hard rubber buttplate. Drop at comb is 1 5/8" and the drop at heel is 3 1/8". Splinter forend checkered in diamond pattern. No. 1 receiver is unengraved and is marked “Parker Bros.” on both sides. Weight: 6 lbs. 10 oz. CONDITION: Very good. Barrels retain 65-70″ original, toned blue with light scratches and handling marks. Buttstock and forend retain 75-80% of their original varnish with light scratches, handling marks and a very small repair at toe. Receiver retains 25-30% original case color, particularly vivid on right side, faded and toning elsewhere. Mechanics are very good, bright shiny bores. A nice original Parker shotgun.
