Up for sale today is a US Springfield M1 Garand serial no. 6092947 chambered in caliber .30-06. This outstanding Garand is a six million serial number range rifle. It shows excellent finish on both wood and metal, and has a mint bore with a barrel date of “SA 3-65.” The rifle’s throat erosion reading is 2 and the muzzle wear reading is 1. The rifle comes with paperwork from the CMP, where it was purchased on the site on September 2013. An excellent example of the rarer and more desirable six million series rifles, and a great addition to any discerning connoisseur’s collection.
